Library Orientation: Home

Whether you're a new student, or a not-so-new student unsure about library resources and services, the library orientation guide is here to help you get started.

We are here to support you in your information and research needs at PTS, and to provide a peaceful space for collaboration, personal study, and community. Explore this guide for an introduction to our services, resources, and collections. Questions? Call our front desk at 412-924-1354 or email us at

The reference room on the first floor is designated for quiet study. There are also closed carrels on the second and ground floors that can be reserved if you desire an enclosed, one-person space.
