Today's New York Times, print edition



A print copy of today's New York Times is available in the comfortable seating area to the left of the new book display on the main floor of the library. Two to three months of print editions are stored next to the current periodical display before they are moved to the lower level, where up to three additional months of print editions may be found.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the home page and select "Tools and Services"
  • Scroll to "Time Machine"

for 1981-present, use the search field at the top of the homepage.

Use an index to identify an article on your topic, then use the archive, above, to locate the article.

The New York Time is indexed in the EBSCOhost database Academic Search Premier and in print indices.

  • 1989-present, electronically, in Academic Search Premier.  Hoover your mouse over More and click on Indexes.
  • 1941-2007, print, shelved in the Periodicals Room on the first floor.
