Searching the Brill Dictionary of Religion
On the home page for the Brill Dictionary of Religion, alphabetical links can be found underneath the description of the book. Clicking on a letter will create four sub-groups for that letter, which can be browsed. Dictionary entries will appear as a few sentences, and clicking on the entry link will retrieve the full text.
The Dictionary can also be searched using the top search box, and all entries that contain the search term will be retrieved.
Dictionary Entries
Each entry in the Brill Dictionary of Religion includes a table of contents listing each section, and the sections are linked for easy access. Entries can be printed or shared in a variety of ways, including email, and a citation for the entry can be exported in MLA or Chicago format.
The end of each entry includes links to related dictionary entries, and an extensive bibliography.
