Searching the Brill Encyclopedia of Early Christianity

On the home page for the Brill Encyclopedia of Early Christianity, alphabetical links can be found underneath the description of the book.  Clicking on a letter will create four sub-groups for that letter, which can be browsed.  Dictionary entries will appear as a few sentences, and clicking on the entry link will retrieve the full text.

 

 

The Encyclopedia can also be searched using the search box at the top of the screen, and all entries containing the search term will be retrieved.

 

Dictionary Entries

Each entry in the Brill Encyclopedia of Early Christianity includes a table of contents listing each section, and the sections are linked for easy access.  Entries can be printed or shared in a variety of ways, including email, and a citation for the entry can be exported in MLA or Chicago format.  

 

 

Each entry in the Encyclopedia includes an extensive bibiliography.
