If you are searching within an EBSCO databases (such as Atla Religion Database with AtlaSerials PLUS), you might come across an article that doesn't have PDF Full Text available.

Example:

In the case above, there isn't a PDF available. You have two options:

  • Check Barbour Library holdings will take you to the online catalog record (print or microform holdings)
  • Full Text Finder will take you to a list of all possible sources where the journal title can be found (see image below)

There will be times where none of these options are available and you will see a note saying "ILL for items not held by PTS."

In this case: fill out a request form, email Mark Russell, or stop by the Circulation Desk.

You are also able to browse journal titles based off their subject.

1. Go to Find Journal Titles through the library's homepage

2. In the Browse By Discipline section, click on a subject to see a list of all journal titles that fall under it

3. On the results page, you can narrow even further by subject, resource type, publisher, and peer reviewed journals
